Community Involvement

At Mid-South Retina, we believe in the importance of giving back to our communities. Below are some of the ways our doctors are involved in their communities.

Dr. Priester, Dr. Khamapirad and Dr. Gordon provide yearly support of the Star Center.

CommunityCafe

Dr. Priester provides continual support of ComeUnity Cafe by purchasing lunches for all employees and an equal number of lunches for the homeless.

Dr. Priester is an active board member of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation.

Dr. Priester and his wife, Joanna, are members of The Sonata Circle of The Jackson Symphony.

Dr. Khamapirad is a donor to Jackson Youth Symphony.

Dr. Khamapirad is a donor to South Gibson County Shooting Sports, a donor to South Gibson County Cheerleading, Band, and Robotics Team, and a volunteer for South Gibson County Band, Beta Club, and Robotics Team​.

VA

Dr. Sievers and Dr. Williams are involved in the retina care of our veterans at the VA and are grateful for their service to our country.

Dr. Sievers and Dr. Williams support Cavalry Rescue Mission and their goal of helping the homeless both physically and spiritually.
